Why not use Devils Lake for the Red River Valley Water Supply Project? This is a frequent question asked about the Red River Valley Water Supply Project (Project). It is a good question. Considering the proximity of the lake to the Red River Valley and the flooding caused over the past decade, it would appear that Devils Lake would be a great source of water for the Valley.
